HIRING: Communications & Business Ops Officer

GENERAL 

Bernoulli Finance is a financial services consultancy for mission-positive ventures. We are entrepreneurs who help entrepreneurs, and we are seeking an inquisitive, organized mind to join our crew. The Communications & Business Ops Officer role touches all aspects of business operations from administration to communication, from internal workflows to project management. This is a fully remote, contract role that has the potential to grow to (still remote) full-time employment pending good fit and performance.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Communications

- Develop content and social media strategy with company management;

- Research, source, create, and update content in alignment with strategy;

- Repurpose content to fit the publishing media, video production or social media;

- Assist with creating and designing internal and external newsletter communications;

- Monitor and promote press coverage, events, and engagements that the company or our clients are involved in;

- Identify industry events and engagements of interest for the company and its client base; act as the primary point of contact for the company in this context.

Administration

- Assist with mapping out existing and designing new business processes;

- Develop SOPs and templates to support repeating workflows;

- Research and implement systems and tools to automate administrative needs;

- Act as the primary point of contact for all administrative work and queries;

- Support with bookkeeping including client invoicing, payments collection, time and expense tracking;

- Assist with research and recordkeeping.

INTERESTS, ATTITUDE, SKILLS

- You love writing. No, really… and you’re good at it;

- You maintain an active interest in mission­-driven businesses and practices;

- You display ease and experience with understanding and using social media platforms;

- You have an eye for design and experience with developing simple, informative visual content;

- Detail is non-negotiable. You have excellent record keeping and organizational skills;

- You are familiar with the basics of bookkeeping and interested in learning more.
